We also participate in various public activities either in collaboration with other groups in Leeds or by organising observing evenings during the year.
Public Observing Sessions
Observing sessions are held regularly most months, on Wednesday and Friday. These take place at The New Inn at Eccup, (Eccup Lane, Leeds, LS16 8AU)
These are open to anyone, member or not, with no charge. They are informal observing sessions where members use their telescopes and chat about astronomy. Non-members are welcome to look through our telescopes, to ask about them, or just to chat about astronomy. They are in the field of an Inn where refreshments, toilets and meals are usually available.
